dsc03301This is a follow up to the DIY marshmallow post. What is marshmallow without hot chocolate? I went through a few sites for inspiration, and came out with this decadant concoction. It is slightly on the bitter side, and very thick. Toss in some marshmallows, and it is perfect. Good as a mid-afternoon pick me up, or a night cap. Or any excuse you can give. :D

Hot Chocolate

7oz dark chocolate (I used 65%)

1 ½ cups milk

1 tbsp cocoa powder

1 tbsp sugar

Marshmallows

1. Add all the ingredients except marshmallows in a saucepan. Over a low flame, heat up and whisk the mixture until all the chocolate melts. Serve warm, with marshmallows.
